SNOW ALARM

The story of two riders who didn’t hesitate. They found freedom in the frost and turned a snowy day into an unforgettable session.

RIDE STORY, November 2024

Welcome to Denmark. Flat, orderly, and not exactly known for backyard bike parks. But Danny Sørensen doesn’t do ordinary. Over the last 10 years, he’s transformed his small garden into a dirt jump paradise. Think flower beds, trees, a bonfire spot, and even a tiny stream powered by a water pump. It’s chill when you want it to be, and totally dialed for sending it. This is where zen meets airtime and one-footed tabletops feel like meditation in motion - all tucked in between friendly and understanding neighbours.

Then came the snow. Late one November evening, Danny hit up his rider friend Martin Jessin with a Snow Alarm. The forecast was clear: tomorrow would be a rare chance for something crazy. By sunrise, they were out there, gas burners in hand, melting snow off the jumps and landings. I grabbed my camera and wouldn’t miss such an opportunity, even though they weren’t even sure if the setup would work - or if it would be safe to ride - but they had to try.

All things aligned perfectly; snowfall, no wind, gas burners and playful minds.

After a few hours of riding and shooting photos, we all agree; snow is pure magic. It’s an invitation to play - a blank canvas inviting you to be creative and interact. It turns the everyday into something unreal, quiets the world, and gives everything that fresh, untouched vibe. It’s like a reset button for our minds, pulling us into the moment and pushing us to get creative. Danny and Martin didn’t hesitate - they transformed the day into a session that’s going straight into the memory bank. A few days later all snow was gone.
