Communications Specialist
Are you a natural storyteller with a passion for cycling and sports marketing?
We’re looking for a Communications Specialist (Copenhagen - on location) to strengthen GripGrab’s voice across PR, brand storytelling, and strategic written content. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for crafting compelling narratives, building media relationships, and shaping the brand’s communication across multiple touchpoints.
Key Responsibilities
1. PR and Media Relations
- Develop and execute PR strategies to enhance GripGrab’s presence in cycling and sports media.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, editors, and key media outlets.
- Write and distribute press releases, media kits, and company news to maximize coverage.
- Identify opportunities for media features, interviews, and partnerships that align with brand goals.
2. Content Creation and Storytelling
- Write engaging blog articles and editorial content that bring GripGrab’s story to life.
- Develop and refine the brand’s tone of voice to ensure consistency across all written communication.
- Collaborate with internal teams to create brand-aligned storytelling that resonates with the cycling community.
3. B2B and Brand Communication
- Craft professional and engaging B2B communication materials, including presentations and partner updates.
- Support sponsorship and ambassador programs with clear, brand-aligned messaging.
- Ensure all external-facing communication strengthens GripGrab’s brand identity.
4. Newsletter and Social Media Copywriting
- Write compelling email newsletter copy that engages and informs GripGrab’s audience.
- Support social media storytelling by crafting select captions and micro-content that align with larger campaigns.
- Work closely with marketing and design teams to ensure messaging consistency across all digital channels.
Key Qualifications
We’re looking for someone who can combine strategic thinking with creative execution:
- Experience: 3–5+ years in PR, communications, or content creation, ideally within cycling, sports, or active lifestyle industries.
- PR Expertise: Proven ability to build and activate press and media relations.
- Exceptional Writing Skills: Strong copywriting and storytelling abilities with experience in newsletters, blogs, and B2B communication.
- Strategic Brand Thinking: Ability to craft and refine a distinct tone of voice for the brand.
- Cycling Passion: A deep understanding of cycling culture and the ability to communicate authentically to the audience.
- Portfolio: A selection of written work showcasing PR efforts, editorial content, and brand storytelling.
